La Celeste 0 - 0 Les Bleus
Not much at all to say about this game. Both teams cancelled each other out, France should have won it, they had the better players but they put in very little effort. They looked uncomfortable during their own National Anthem, and uncomfortable on the pitch too.
Uruguay tried, but were probably trying too hard not to lose, and were jumping all over the pitch into and out of tackles, rather than playing football on it. At least the first red card can't go to an England player now!
The BBC have scored an own goal with Adebayor as a studio guest. He talks too fast and it is very hard to understand what he has been talking about. Shearer and Hansen look like they know, but we all kind of know they didn't. Subtitles aren't an option, but after a couple of beers could be very helpfull. I think I prefer the ITV Studio too.
